Are you searching for fun outdoor activities for the family? Or maybe you just want some company getting back out on your bike. Join Pedals Ready on one of our supported bike rides.

Depending on your confidence levels these fun rides are held in local Sandwell parks or along the Birmingham & The Black Country canal network.

Our supported rides are no longer available to book separately but at your instructors discretion they may be incorporated in to your usual lesson package. This depends on our assessment of the fitness and ability of individual students and therefore may not be offered during your sessions.

What should I bring?

In order to qualify for a supported ride you will usually be expected to have your own safe roadworthy bike. As a minimum a safe bike should be free of punctures and have two working brakes. Cycle hire is also available close to the start point of many of our rides.

Helmets are not a legal requirement but please bring one if you would like to.

Suitable clothing for the weather. We cycle in all weathers so sunglasses and a head covering in the heat, layers and a coat in the cooler months. Please avoid baggy or very long clothing as this runs the risk of getting caught or becoming tangled.

Recommended but not essential: Puncture kit or spare tubes. Water bottle. Small change for refreshments.

Please be aware that at Pedals Ready our cycling instructors reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a ride if you attend with a bike that is not considered safe to ride or if they encounter abusive behaviour.
